Emmaline Rasmussen is a registered dietitian nutritionist born and raised in Chicago. Always passionate about food (perhaps due to her Greek roots), she developed an interest in nutrition science and integrative medicine at a very young age. This passion led her to complete a coordinated program in dietetics at University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was the president of the Student Nutrition Association, and then to complete a graduate degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine at Georgetown University.
Through her time living, learning and working in the midwest, Colorado, Miami, DC, New York and abroad, she has developed a well rounded knowledge of food and integrative medicine which she brings to her work every day. Today, Emmaline lives in Chicago, where she is a dietitian and nutrition researcher, and creates healthy recipes and shares her nutrition knowledge and passion for healthy food with the city she loves and the world at large. Emmaline is also an avid photographer, runner, and yogi who teaches yoga in her spare time.
